Ever since I can remember, I’ve had an interest in old, loud and fast cars. I would run to watch out the window whenever I would hear a loud car coming to see what kind it was. When I was 14, I started working on my Grandpa’s farm making hay in order to save up for my first classic car; a 1977 Mustang II. With my dad’s help, I fixed it up, had the seats reupholstered and the car painted. This just made me realize my passion for fixing cars even more. Throughout high school, I did a work study program at the body shop that painted my mustang a few years before. I’d work there for a few hours after school until I graduated. After graduation, I went to Wyoming to attend WyoTechs collision and refinishing program, where I also got my associates degree. I also took the upholstery and street rod course. After completing Wyotech’s program, I landed a job at Scott’s Auto Body. I worked there for 14 years when I was offered the opportunity to purchase the business as Scott was planning for retirement. In October 2023 I opened the doors to Maple Street Rods & Collision LLC and am excited to continue to bring this service to our community.
